Scientia School Group seals a strategic alliance with Iroko Zen, thus reinforcing the development and promotion of its educational centers.
The Scientia School Group and the real estate investment company Iroko Zen have completed a sales & lease back operation that will allow the former to reinforce its educational commitment both in the Scientia Alhucema school located in Fuenlabrada and in the rest of the 9 educational centers it has throughout Spain.
Through this operation, the Iroko Group has acquired the ownership of the building without intervening in the daily management and development of the educational project of the Fuenlabrada center.
In this way, the Scientia Group obtains the necessary financing for the development of new educational innovation projects while the Iroko Group enters the educational sector, covering alternative real estate uses, less subject to economic cycles than the traditional ones.
In the words of Francisco Guerrero, CEO of Grupo Scientia, “the educational challenges posed by the arrival of Artificial Intelligence and Vocational Training to our centers has encouraged us to sign this strategic alliance with the Iroko investment fund, convinced of the enormous benefit it will bring to both the students and the families of our educational centers”.
Selling back operations provide liquidity for the development of the business owner, obtaining financing, reducing fixed costs and providing tax advantages. In addition, this type of operation will allow the Scientia Group to recover the ownership of the property in the future in accordance with the terms established in the agreement agreed by both parties.
